Healthworkers 4 Palestine

As International Day of Action for Women’s Health approaches, Health Workers 4 Palestine share a series of cards raising awareness on the state of women and girls’ health, hygiene, safety, and privacy in Palestine. They emphasize “The lack of hygiene in Gaza is not just a humanitarian issue, it is a women’s rights issue. Women and girls are disproportionately affected by the lack of clean sanitation.”

May 28 is the International Day of Action for Women’s Health, which for 40 years, organizations and activists in the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) movement worldwide have commemorated in diverse ways. Year after year, women, girls, advocates and allies have continued to take action and stand up for sexual and reproductive rights for what they are: an indivisible and inalienable part of our human rights.
