What is a blog parade?
The goal of the blog parade is to engage the global community in the International Day of Action for Women’s Health and to highlight the importance of human rights based approach to women’s health as a global sustainable development priority.
We invite all our campaign partners and campaign participants to write about issues concerning women’s health and rights and institutional violence. Denial of safe abortion services, forced sterilization or abortion, obstetric violence, denial of access to comprehensive SRH service to young people are some of the examples of “Institutional violence,” or violence perpetrated by the State. What are the examples of institutional violence in your place / in your country? If you work for an international organization please write about the work your organization does to counter institutional violence. Write about your experiences and share them with the world!
